The products we stock in clinic (also available for Direct to Patient home delivery) are always the ones I believe in and use myself.  My familiarity with the products gives me full confidence in recommending them to you.  Our practice manager, Julie, is also a big fan of the medical grade Obagi skincare products and has her own personal favourites.

I want my skin to look great with as little effort as possible; while using the most scientifically advanced formulations which are actually proven to improve and transform my skin.

Products for glowing skin – Obagi Professional-C

My own ‘hero’ ingredient is Vitamin C. Healthy skin is bright and smooth, even-toned and radiant. Our skin not only needs protection fro UVA and UVB but also from ongoing free radical damage. And Vitamin C can transform dull, lacklustre skin in need of a damage control boost.

One of the original, most popular and best serums delivering stabilised Vitamin C to the skin, where it needs it, is Obagi Professional-C Serum. It contains the most readily absorbed version of Vitamin C, called L-ascorbic acid. Using Obagi Vitamin C, together with a professionally recommended sunblock on a daily basis, will lead your skin to start to thank you – and to visibly glow in just a few days!  I have used this every day for many years as my secret for healthy and glowing skin.

I am also a regular user of Obagi Professional-C’s Microdermabrasion Polish + Mask.  In under 15 minutes, you can achieve an ‘at home’ facial glow with a powerful infusion of 30% Vitamin C, revealing luminous skin.  The key ingredient is 30% L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), along with sea berry fruit oil and ultra fine crystals for exfoliation. It’s quite easy to use and you don’t need too much product (a small spatula is provided, to help you decant the correct amount). Mix with the spatula until the paste softens.  Then apply a thin layer to clean, damp skin and gently exfoliate with your fingers for 60 seconds or less.  Leave it on for about 10 minutes and relax. Once 10 minutes have elapsed, gently remove the remaining product with warm water. Simple! You can use it once a week and a little bit of this product will go a long way.

Cleanse and tone

Obagi Nu-Derm Gentle Cleanser will thoroughly cleanse skin and then rinse off.  The skin will feel fresh and clean, comfortable and soft. Suitable for dry, sensitive and normal skins.  Many of our patients like to use this cleanser in combination with Obagi Nu-Derm Toner.  This is alcohol-free and non-drying and will help maintain your skin’s pH, remove any impurities and dead skin and nicely prep your skin for your appropriate daily routine.

The Exfoliating Cleanser cleanser from the Obagi360 range is formulated for the needs of younger skin – those aged in their 20s and 30s.  It gently exfoliates the skin, working to help clear clogged pores and leaving the face feeling soft and clean. Used in conjunction with the other products in the Obagi360 system, it provides a basic and easy to use combination of core products designed to protect and maintain healthy and younger-looking skin.

Skin hydration

Obagi Hydrate facial moisturisers provide instant and long-lasting hydration and rejuvenation for both day and night.  They have been formulated with all skin types in mind and combine the latest skincare technology with naturally derived ingredients. All products are non-comedogenic, so will not block pores. Hydrate has been clinically shown to improve the moisture content of the skin and provide hydration for up to 8 hours, using an innovative technology called Hydromanil to capture water and assimilate it into the skin.  Hydrate also contains natural ingredients such as shea butter, mango butter, avocado and glycerin to further help combat dry skin.

Daily Hydro Drops is a lightweight, non-greasy, hydrating serum, containing Abyssinian and Hibiscus oils and Vitamin B3. Once massaged into the skin, the oils and hydrating gel will help soften the appearance of fine lines and continued use will give you more radiant and healthy-looking skin.

Elastiderm Products

The Obagi Elastiderm range of products have been formulated with clinically-proven ingredients – their revolutionary Bi-Mineral Contour Complex. This advanced technology harnesses minerals zinc and copper with malonate and has been specifically designed to initiate and promote the three necessary stages of developing healthy elastin. Elastin will help to restore lift, snap and resilience around the eyes and give your face and neck some ‘bounce back’ from the signs of ageing.

Suncare

The Obagi range of suncare has a product suitable for every skin type.  The wide range of sunscreens will protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays and defend the skin against HEV and IR rays.

We’re also fans of the innovative sun care range from Spanish-based brand Heliocare. They harness the power of nature with their unique Fernblock technology to protect against the sun’s 4 radiations, neutralise free radicals and repair sun damage. You’ll find a Heliocare product for all ages. A brand new sunscreen specifically for pigmented skin has just been added to this excellent portfolio of sun protection products. The products come in many different formats and include sprays, gels and fluid creams.

The sensitive and delicate skin of young children is also catered for in the Pediatrics range. The Pediatrics products have an SPF of 50+ and there is a spray-on lotion available for atopic skin.
